friday was a day full of meetings, but it was a good day.

the 2pm mtng was full of crap. i dun understand why 1 mgr has so much problem with me. he blantly refused to understand what i had presented. if 9 other people in the mtng has no issue, so he must be the issue then. the dept is going to shits. we have people who thinks they know best when they have been hiding in the school for so long. i need to get out soon…

well, the day was crappy but the nite was good. went out with kat and freddy to had supper at kok seng. been a while since i had a proper meal with rice. it was good.

i saw a fellow lecturer before i went for lesson yesterday. he was back to his usual cheerful self after his one year of medical leave. i had a few words with him and shook his hand, well that surprised me a little. but he looked happy and healthy.

today at 11am, i received news that he has passed away. last nite at 11pm, he died of a heart attack while showering.

Mr. Goh Kay Cheng was a good lecturer. i rarely worked with him, but i respected him. he was there when i studying in 1994 and as a co-worker in 2004. he was cheerful, gave good advice, remained neutral and calm always.

RIP mate. u will be remembered.

11 years ago, i waved goodbye to my grandma the nite before i left the hospital. the next day she died in while in the showers. it was in Sept 1997.  11 years, i am saying goodbye to a friend again in similar fashion.

i really hate to say goodbyes.
